Your trial ends automatically after 28 days, and you won't be charged anything. If you choose a paid plan, you keep the connectors you set up and the data you loaded during the trial.

Monthly plans run one month at a time, and yearly plans one year at a time. Both renew automatically. You can cancel Starter at least 30 days before the current period ends, and Business, Advanced and Custom at least 3 months before.

Yearly plans come with a 8% discount and are invoiced 12 months in advance. The plan renews for another year unless you cancel in time: at least 30 days before the billing period ends on Starter, or at least 3 months before on Business, Advanced and Custom. If you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.

Credits are how Kaivo measures usage. Every plan includes a set number of credits: 5 on Starter, 15 on Business and 30 on Advanced. Connectors, extra users, table snapshots and modeling support all draw from the same allowance. Read how credits work.

Some connectors take more work to build and keep running than others. A system with a well-documented API costs fewer credits than a complex source with large data volumes or a frequently changing structure. Most connectors cost 2 credits. You can see what each one costs in our connector catalog.

You can keep adding connectors and users beyond your allowance. Anything over it is billed as extra credits at your plan's rate: €50 per credit on Starter, €30 on Business and €22 on Advanced. If extra credits start adding up, a bigger plan is often cheaper or gives you more for a similar price. The price calculator recommends the right plan for your setup.

No. Credits measure what you have running at any one time rather than something you spend during the month. If your connectors and users take up 12 of your 15 credits, the other 3 are free for new connectors whenever you need them, but they don't add to next month's allowance.

Yes. Upgrades take effect right away, and downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period. Get in touch and we'll switch your plan for you.

Standard connectors cover the most common business systems. Premium connectors are more complex sources, for example ones with large data volumes or a frequently changing data structure. Premium connectors are available on Business and above. You can see each connector's class in our connector catalog.

Yes. On Business and above, you can request a connector to a new source, and we typically build it within 1–2 weeks. Get in touch to tell us what you need. On Starter, you can use any of our 550+ Standard connectors.

Your data is stored and queried in Google BigQuery, and every plan includes a monthly amount of BigQuery usage: €5 on Starter, €30 on Business and €100 on Advanced. That covers typical reporting. If your usage goes over it, we'll contact you before billing anything extra.

Yes, the user count depends on your plan: Starter includes 1 user, Business 8, and Advanced 25. Custom plans include unlimited users. You can add extra users to any plan for 1 credit per user, or switch to a bigger plan any time if you need more.

Kaivo stores your data in BigQuery, and you decide who can access which parts of it. On Business, you can grant access per dataset, for example so that the finance team only sees accounting data. Advanced lets you restrict access per table, and Custom adds column- and row-level control plus an audit log of who accessed what.

Many source systems only keep the current state of your data, so yesterday's values get overwritten. Snapshots save a daily copy of the tables you choose, so you can see how your data has changed over time, such as your sales pipeline at the end of each month. Each table costs 1 credit, and snapshots are available on Business and above.

Raw data from source systems doesn't always match how you want to report on it. We help you model it into report-ready tables with dbt or Dataform, whichever suits your team best. Modeling support costs 3 credits and is available on Business and above.

A user is anyone with their own Kaivo login. People who only view reports in a BI tool such as Power BI or Data Studio don't count as Kaivo users.
