Deleting your data from Kaivo

Kaivo is a service of QuickBI Oy. When you connect a data source, such as Meta Ads or Google Analytics, Kaivo stores the credentials needed to read from it in encrypted form, separately from your data. The data it syncs is stored in your Kaivo data warehouse. Read more on our security page.

Delete a connector’s data yourself

  1. Sign in to Kaivo and open Data connectors.
  2. Open the connector and choose Delete.

This removes the connector’s stored credentials and settings, stops its syncs and deletes its synced tables from your data warehouse.

Many data sources also let you revoke Kaivo’s access in their own settings, for example in your Meta or Google account. Kaivo then stops syncing, but data that has already been synced stays until you delete the connector.

Delete your account or ask us to delete data

Email privacy@kaivo.io from the address you use with Kaivo. Tell us whether you want specific connectors deleted or your whole account and workspace. We delete the data within 30 days and confirm by email.

What we keep

Some data, such as security logs, backups and records we’re legally required to keep, may be retained for longer. Our privacy policy and terms of service describe how long.

If you are not a Kaivo customer

If your personal data reached Kaivo through one of our customers, for example as part of their advertising data, that customer controls it. Contact them directly, or email us and we’ll forward your request to them.
